Scavenger Hunt
From May 14 to June 8, 2025

If you have random stuff, treasures, collectables, memorabillia sitting around your house collecting dust, then Scavenger Hunt is the event for you! It's simple - we post a list of items that your team needs to find, create or photograph to earn points for your company! So open up those attics, dig through your junk draw and break out the craft supplies - it's time for Scavenger Hunt.

    • RED Division - 1pm - 2pm, medals at 2:15pm
    • BLUE Division - 11:30am - 12:30pm, medals at 12:45pm
    • YELLOW Division - 2pm - 3pm, medals at 3:15pm

  • Must have a minimum of 1 Scavenger Hunt participant to register at Grand Finale

ROSTER

Team Structure

  • Teams consist of a minimum 1 Scavenger Hunt participant (any gender)
  • Teams can have unlimited support participants 
  • A minimum 1 participant must be an employee of your company at the time of play.

Roster/Waiver

Registration at event

  • Team Captain will be sent information to sign on to Discord - this is where you will upload photos of your items
  • Team Captains must bring the roster to the Grande Finale event.
  • Teams must register at the Grand Finale with a minimum 1 person team (any gender)
  • Ensure that all players read and sign the waiver before registering.
  • Ensure that all players bring photo ID and company ID to register at the event. Company ID can include an HR letter, business card, pay stub, employee ID.

RULES

Team Participants
  • Teams can have as many participants as you like!

  • A minimum 1 participant must be an employee of your company at the time of play.


Event Format - Part 1 Virtual

  • Teams will be tasked with finding a list of items - the list will be posted on the Corporate Challenge website on May 14, 2025 by noon.  Each item is assigned a point value. 

  • Teams will have from May 14 - June 3, 2025 to post photos of their items to their Discord channel

  • Please request your team's Scavenger Hunt channel in Discord here. Channels will begin to be created on May 8. At least one team member will be required to join the Discord server and be added to the channel.

  • A copy of THIS SIGN must be included in each picture you upload.

  • Each team will upload photos of those items to their account on Discord (more information about Discord can be found in our Discord 101 Guide)

NEW in 2025!  SCAVENGER HUNT GRANDE FINALE

  • After all points are tabulated on June 3, the top 10 teams in each division will be invited to the Grande Finale at Park Day on June 8.

  • All teams that accumlate a minimum of 50 Scavenger Hunt points in the Virtual Portion of the event, will receive an extra 2 Participation Points (even if they don't place in the top 10).  

  • Each division will be assigned a time slot on June 8 and the teams will be given a list of items to find within a designated amount of time.

  • The items will be assigned point values and at the end of the designated time, volunteers will tabulate final points based on the items found by each team. 

  • The teams will be ranked 1st to 10th place based on their ranking in the Grande Finale.  

  • In the event of a tie in the Grande Finale a "Closest to the Pin" trivia question tie-breaker will be utilized. 


Corporate Challenge Points

  • Each team that participates will receive 10 PARTICIPATION points.

  • All teams that each at least 50 Scavenger Hunt Points will recieve 2 Participation Points.

  • The top 6 teams in each division will be awarded CHALLENGE points as follows:

    • 1st place - 10 points (GOLD)

    • 2nd place - 8 points (SILVER)

    • 3rd place - 6 points (BRONZE)

    • 4th place - 4 points

    • 5th place - 3 points

    • 6th place – 1 point

  • Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to the winning teams in each


Team Cancellation/No Show Penalty

Cancellations must be emailed to the Corporate Challenge office. If a team must cancel their participation in a sport, the Penalties are as follows: 

LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION: (Within 48 hours of your event start time)

Teams that provide written notification (by email) that they are canceling out of an event within 48 hours of the start of the event will be penalized 5 points. A company with participants who register at the event but are unable to register an eligible team will be considered a cancellation and the penalty will apply. 

NO SHOWS: (No notification of cancellation)

A No Show will result in a 10-point deduction and disqualification from that sport for the following year. A NO SHOW is a team that has not provided any notification that their team is not participating in an event prior to start time of the event.
