Edmonton and Area Corporate Challenge
Community impact

The companies that take part in Corporate Challenge represent the best companies and employers in the Edmonton region and we want to facilitate opportunities for these companies to support and enhance the community in which we all live and work.
Through our events, we support a wide range of charities, community groups, sports associations and non-profits.

Canadian Blood Services Blood Donor Challenge
For over 30 years, Edmonton Corporate Challenge has teamed up with the Canadian Blood Services (CBS) to hold a blood drive with all of the participating companies. This is one of the largest drives that CBS has each year. The companies who participate in CC take part in the Blood Donor Challenge in order to earn points for their company but also to give something back to the community. Each year thousands of units of blood are donated on behalf of Corporate Challenge teams.
Stollery Children’s Hospital
Each year we host an Extra Life gaming event which offers teams the opportunity to raise funds for the Stollery. It has proven to be one of the more popular events in the Games and we’ve raised thousands for this amazing cause.
Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta
It all began with the Big Bike Challenge where CC teams would pledge money to ride on a giant 30 seat bike. Now, teams take part in the Cardiac Crash ‘game show’ event to learn about CPR and raise funds for this important cause. Over the years, our teams have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Heart and Stroke.
Edmonton Food Bank
Through events like our Acts of Kindness and Scavenger Hunt, teams are asked to donate items for the Food Bank. The companies usually go above and beyond the requirement and bring in a large quantity of food. Thousands of pounds of food has been donated over the years.
